Bummed...

After a terrific season, our Packers are done. Last night's game against the Giants wasn't necessarily a test of talent but more of a test of will. The Pack came up short in overtime.

What I find truly amazing is that I became a Packer fan only recently due to my wonderful husband...but it was so easy to join the bandwagon when they played that good this year...and not to mention their leader, Mr. Brett Favre, was great to watch (hopefully NOT in his last season)! So today is a day of mixed emotions...that of disappointment, disbelief and sadness....the sadness is because I have to work today!!HA

Now away from sports, this weekend was great. We had date night on Friday, followed by painting and movie watching on Saturday then, well you know what on Sunday.

Every weekend we try to have a date night to keep things romantic. Well since the weather was SO COLD we made the night simple and quick. We hit up Chili's for an easy dinner and waited nearly 40 minutes, but not too bad. We rented a couple movies and headed home. Overall, the night was good....spending quality time together was definitely needed and enjoyed.

Saturday I was pumped to paint the guest bedroom...well after 2 walls of primer, I was sick of it!! I rested awhile then finished priming the other 2 walls and decided to leave the painting for this week. Let's cross our fingers that I can get this done in a timely fashion adn not have it lingering for weeks!
