Easy BBQ Ribs
3-4 lbs of spareribs (Country style)
1 medium onion, sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
14 oz your favorite BBQ sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory Brown Sugar)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Rub the ribs with the salt and pepper. Broil the ribs for about 15 minutes, or until brown.
In medium bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, lemon juice and brown sugar; set aside.
When ribs are brown, throw them in crockpot with the sliced onion. Pour BBQ mixture over the ribs and place the top on. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 8-10 hours.
I cooked mine for about 4 hours and 20 minutes and they were falling off the bone! Delicious meal, and it made the house smell good all day!! I highly recommend this!!!
