See the big picture
How your baby's growing:By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
So I made it to the final trimester! Hopefully this one will fly by. I'm still feeling good, not great, but good. I had my glucose screening last week for gestational diabetes....they said they'd call if the levels were abnormal....no news is good news right?! I haven't heard from them yet....
We have A LOT going on now and as much as I just want this little angel here, I still have so much that I need/want to get done. We start our birthing classes in a few weeks...they will last throughout the month of June. Our baby showers are the 2nd and 3rd weekend in June, so we have so much to get done before that (ahem...our one shower is at out house...ugh). We are finishing up re-doing the nursery...I just want it done! Brandon should be finishing up the trim today on his day off...we'll see if that gets done. In the meantime our guest bedroom has become the overflow room...have I mentioned the mess and clutter are driving me crazy! I can't help a lot with the moving of stuff and Brandon just doesn't have the "just get it done" attitude that I do...things are taking far too long. I guess people refer to this as the nesting phase...this nesting phase is making me feel like a crazy person! :-)
On to a lighter note...our little one finallly has a name! Sorry to spoil things but we aren't ready to spill the beans just yet though. She is VERY active...moves around so much....always letting me know she's in there and I'm sure outgrowing her space! Here are some (requested) pictures of me at 28 weeks....please excuse my face and hair...I was super tired last night (and not wanting to be posing for pics)!
