Ok so it's been awhile....

It has been about 3 months since I've updated so I figure to keep things in order I will make multiple entries on the happenings over the past 3 months.

I guess we will start Thanksgiving and on....

Holidays are a big deal for me and Brandon but this being our first Holiday season as a family we decided to spend TurkeyDay (our anniversary) alone...just the 3 of us. It was lovely...lots of food, relaxing....perfect.

Now Christmas, there's a different story!

We drove to Michigan to spend it with my family and about half way into our 7 hour drive, McKenna starts wailing. Poor thing is sicker than a dog. We arrive at my Dad's around 10pm and everyone there is just waiting to see our sweet little thing and she wants nothing to do with anyone! We spent the rest of the night consoling her in our bedroom....LONG night. She had a fever and the stuffed up nose and was absolutely miserable....X-mas day, spent in the ER..not exactly our picture perfect first X-mas! We cut our trip short and came hoem the following morning. Once we were home she started to feel a little better...I think just knowing she was in the comfort of her own room again, made her feel a little better.
